Home remedy & practice to rid away Gas and Bloating

With our sedentary lifestyle and leisure at its worst face, most of us have embraced dose of self care reluctance with bad eating habits. This often leads to slow metabolism and unfruitful digestion, which leads to gas, bloating and flatulence. It is one of the most uncomfortable feeling, which may cause irritation discomfort and public embarrassment. It is common for everyone to face this issue but if repetitive in nature, it should be treated with immediate consideration. There are many over the counter drugs available for treating gas and flatulence, but instigating our system with a natural trigger of remedy will help in long term.

 

Below are some of the ways to treat bloating and gas through natural methods. It simply requires a change in eating habits (Promise, it is not difficult).

A. Warm water

Kick start your day with a glass of hot water which gently calibrates the metabolism to take in food and stimulate proper bowel movement to trigger cleansing. Cultivate it as regular practice and feel the difference.

B. Check what you eat

It is very important to keep a eye on your food intake. There are some food like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, sprouts, beans and many others which cause gas formation and bloating, leading to flatulence. Although they are good diet supplements but if they cause digestion trouble, it is recommended to avoid them. It is also found that raw food like salad causes bloating, which is why try to avoid eating raw food and replace it with sauté vegetable with digestive spices. In order to curb the recurrence of this problem, try to include few things in your diet like garlic, wintergreen, dress your food with oregano, pumpkin etc.

C. Use spices that trigger good metabolism

Spices are not only taste enhancers but have many medicinal effects. There are many spices like fennel, cumin, coriander, ginger, ajwain and hing which helps in releasing gas and boost digestion. Fennel seeds have profound effect on abdominal irregularities which is why try chewing fennel seeds after every meal for sound metabolism. Probiotics have gained immense popularity in these years for treating indigestion problems. E. Replace your tea

F. Exercise and practice yoga

There are few easy exercises which one can practise for regular motion and decreased bloating. Regularly practise Pawanmuktasana or wind releasing pose, which is easy and can be done with simple moves. It requires one to lie on back, bring right knee to chest, inhale and exhale, brings knee towards nose. Follow the same on the left knee and repeat the process thrice. At last, hold both knees to chest for few seconds and repeat thrice.
